Dead Island 2 - Burster (2019)

Happy to show off some of the work I did a few years ago on the Pulp Horror hit Dead Island 2 when I was part of the great team at DS Dambuster!

The Burster was probably the first special infected archetype I worked on. It was a fun challenge making essentially two versions: one deflated and one inflated and then setting up and animating a bunch of blendshapes between the two. As a character artist I don't usually get to animate, so it was great to work closely with other departments to get the most out of this character.
