Happy to show off some of the work I did a few years ago on the Pulp Horror hit Dead Island 2 when I was part of the great team at DS Dambuster!
This is an example of gradual blood build-up on 1st person arms. Basically the idea is; the more you are in the thick of killing zombies (and possibly taking some damage yourself), the more blood appears on your arms. I have always enjoyed working on blood shading and
texturing. It's a fun challenge to get the right depth, vibrancy and translucency to make it look like the real thing!
